Students will learn the following 4 recipes:
- hummus (a Levantine and Egyptian food dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas or other beans, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic)
- lavash chips (a healthy crisp chip made of whole wheat or regular lavash bread baked and seasoned with herbs de provence
- ratatouille Nicoise (a French Provençal stewed vegetable dish, originating in Nice)
- spanakopita (spinach pie, a Greek savory pastry)
Duration: 2 hours
