Easy & Healthy Everyday Indian!

Ever wanted to learn the basics of Indian cuisine? Now you can learn & cook some classic dishes!

In this vegetarian Indian cooking class, Chef Teena will teach you how to prepare a great combination of basic Indian recipes that can easily become a part of your recipe repertoire.

You'll start with an Indian Spice Pantry education. The hues and scents are mesmerizing! Next up the starter...you'll learn how to prepare RAITA, a cucumber & red onion yogurt dip with fresh mint & cilantro. Then, we will move onto PAPADS, crisp lentil wafers, perfectly accompanied by readymade mango chutney. Then, for the main course...the infamous everyday MASOOR DAL, a flavorful lentil soup! This recipe WOWs the crowd with step 2 in the process:-) We then move forward with JEERA CHAWAL, basmati rice flavored with cumin. Together, these two dishes provide a satisfying complete protein. Note: option to learn dal and/or rice in a pressure cooker.

Class includes complimentary cup of Masala CHAI tea made with Chef Teena's personal homemade spice blend! Note: Family heirloom recipe is 100 years old! See rave reviews for this spice blend on Etsy.

You'll leave the class feeling inspired and ready to cook delicious vegetarian Indian dishes at home. When you can mix such rich flavors and spices with refreshing, wholesome ingredients, who says Meatless Monday's are impossible?
