Say Cheese? This class is all about the infamous PANEER, Indian farmers cheese.
Students will learn to make the paneer from scratch and then create a classic North Indian Punjabi recipe from the cheese called, Mutter Paneer. It's simmered in a tomato, garlic, onion gravy, with spices and green peas.
Our second Paneer recipe is, Saag (Palak) Paneer. Another Punjabi dish consisting of puréed spinach and seasoned with garlic, ginger, spices, and cream.
Both recipes are uniquely different, with Paneer taking center stage.
These curries are typically served with rice, naan, roti, chapati and/or parantha. Students will get to sample the recipes with ready-made naan bread.
