Next up the starter...you'll learn how to prepare RAITA, a cucumber & red onion yogurt dip with fresh mint & cilantro. Then, we will move onto PAPADS, crisp lentil wafers, perfectly accompanied by readymade mango chutney. Then, for the main course...the infamous everyday MASOOR DAL, a flavorful lentil soup! This recipe WOWs the crowd with step 2 in the process:-) We then move forward with JEERA CHAWAL, basmati rice flavored with cumin. Together, these two dishes provide a satisfying complete protein. Note: option to learn dal and/or rice in a pressure cooker.
Class includes complimentary cup of Masala CHAI tea made with Chef Teena's personal homemade spice blend! Note: Family heirloom recipe is 100 years old! See rave reviews for this spice blend on Etsy.
