Roadside Indian foods!

This class offers students a fun-filled hands-on experience in making the best Indian street foods & assorted savory snacks. Straight from the streets of North India, our Chaat (snack) corner menu includes: 

  • Pani Puri or “Gole Gappas” (semolina puffs or hollow shells filled with spiced and cooling water – “jal jeera”)

  • Pav Bhaji (a spicy curry of mixed vegetables (bhaji) cooked in a special blend of spices and served with soft bread pav)

  • Dahi Bara (urad flour fried dumplings with spiced yogurt sauce)
  • Vada Pav (spiced, deep-fried potato)

  • Bhel Poori (crispy Indian puffed rice snack with potatoes and sauces)

  • Papdi Chaat (papadis, tossed in a blend of chutneys, curds, garbanzo beans, and potatoes)

Students will also learn to make a fresh mint/cilantro cilantro chutney!
