The emphasis of this class is to educate students about the wonderful world of vegetarian Indian cuisine; it's aromatic and healing spices. And, how to prepare the food in a pressure cooker by reducing time, energy and retaining nutrients.

Healthy homemade nutritious meals without the pressure! With the aid of a pressure cooker, students will learn how to make the following recipes:

  • Alloo Baigan Masala (potato & eggplant curry)
  • Masoor Dal (orange/red split lentil soup)
  • Ghiya Curry (curried opo squash)
  • Mutter Pullao (Basmati rice with green peas and flavored with turmeric)
